We are pleased to announce the publication of the third edition of the DiGiN Newsletter, highlighting our continued efforts to support municipalities across Europe in embedding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) into local governance and internal institutional culture.

This summer edition brings together new tools, practices and reflections from across the DiGiN network and beyond, offering practical insights and policy inspiration for municipal change agents.

Featured in this edition:

Youth-led strategies and feminist approaches to governance were at the centre of recent exchanges and conferences. We share highlights from the Cities4Her workshop and the FemCities Conference in Athens, including the 7P model in municipal work on gender-based violence.

💡 New Inspiring Practices
We feature four new practices from Rotterdam, Genoa and Ghent, including cross-departmental DEI coordination, inclusive HR frameworks and affinity networks for staff. Each resource includes concrete implementation steps and lessons for replication.
