As the DiGiN project approaches its final stage, we are pleased to share that a wide range of project resources are now available on Zenodo.
Making these materials openly accessible is an important step in ensuring that the knowledge developed through DiGiN remains available and useful beyond the lifetime of the project. By uploading them to Zenodo, we aim to make it easier for municipalities, practitioners, researchers and other interested stakeholders to find, use, cite and share the resources developed through the project.
Over the past two years, DiGiN has focused on supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) mainstreaming in municipal organisations. Working closely with partners and municipalities, the project has developed a range of practical and strategic resources designed to support institutional change from within.
The collection now available on Zenodo includes resources such as the DEI Assessment Tool, the Toolkit of DEI capacity-building materials, the Evaluation Toolbox, a range of inspiring practices from different municipalities, and guidance on issues such as coalition building and the implementation of long-term DEI strategies.
Together, these materials offer concrete support for municipalities and public organisations that want to strengthen DEI in a more structured, reflective and sustainable way. They address different dimensions of institutional change, from diagnosis and learning to strategy, implementation and evaluation.
Open access matters because it helps knowledge travel further. It allows project results to remain visible, reusable and easier to integrate into future work, whether by local authorities, DEI practitioners, policy actors or researchers. In this sense, making DiGiN resources available on Zenodo is not simply a dissemination step. It is also part of the project’s legacy.
We hope that these resources will continue to support municipalities and other public organisations working towards more inclusive institutional cultures, policies and practices.
